Insulating Glass Unit (IGU)
Double glazing consists of two glass panes separated by a spacer and sealed around the perimeter to form an insulated glass unit. This structure can help improve the thermal and acoustic performance of windows. Actual performance depends on the glass configuration, the gap between the panes, coatings, and manufacturing quality.
